The environment impacts everything that happens in the early childhood classroom.  It determines what will be learned, what will be done, what choices are made, and how the children work together.  It influences the teacher’s attitude and planning throughout the day.

How can a classroom be designed to maximize children’s and teachers collaboration while focusing on the things that are important?  Look inside “real” classrooms and see how things are set up, where things are stored, how choices are made, how projects are saved, and how the environment is impacted by the interest of the children and the teachers.

Learn how to make your classroom special and function effective so you and your children will live together in a meaningful and supportive way
